1.What did you learn from the PINTEREST activity?  

Prior to this activity, I was already a frequent Pinterest user. As a result of this assignment, I will likely increase my Pinterest usage as I fill my new boards for education. I think its a fabulous resource for educators, there are so many ideas for classroom management, learning about different grade levels and subjects and coming up with student activities.

2.How do you believe you will utilize PINTEREST as a teacher?  

I wil use Pinterest as a way to boost my lesson plans with fun activiites, organize and set up my classroom and find resources such as blogs about my content area.

3.What are the strengths of PINTEREST?

Pinterest is great because it organizes everything into specific boards. it makes it easy to quickly find information in certain categories so it is always easy to access and add too. It is also nice that you can access pinterest from any computer.

4.What are some of the challenges of PINTEREST?

I sometimes find that Pinterest has too many ideas. Sometimes I find myself continually pinning and never applying the ideas that I have saved to my boards.

5.What comments, questions, thoughts, opinions, and/or feedback do you have about PINTEREST?

I think that overall, Pinterest is a very useful resource for the classroom and for all areas of life. I think it might be cool to somehow create a Pinterest activity so that students could find information and organize it to the internet somehow for learning purposes. i will be working to come up with something like this, I will update the blog when I come up with a plan.
